On 19 October 2017, APOK NV successfully completed its acquisition of Defrancq's French business unit specialising in roofing and façade materials. APOK NV is part of the independent Belgian group Fedrus International NV, which is engaged in the distribution and production of roofing and façade materials. The group has two operational business units. The first business unit, under I.R.S-Btech NV, promotes and distributes EPDM and other roofing materials in Western Europe to dealers in construction and roofing materials. The second business unit, under APOK NV, distributes roofing and façade materials to professional roofers and contractors.
